Ninja Polish : Reality

TGIF all! The weather here has been scorching hot lately (never happy, right? It's either too hot or too cold. lol) so I haven't felt like sitting in the office swatching polish. It's supposed to be cool and rainy this weekend though - perfect polishing weather!

Today I have a wonderfully fun colour from the newly returned Ninja Polish. Reality is from the Infinity Gems collection (see Iced Lacquer for swatches of the full collection) and I was given the chance at Cosmoprof to pick one of the colours. This chartreuse-y yellow called my name and I couldn't leave without it. I'm so glad I chose this one - I have a soft spot for yellows and Reality plays with my skin tone perfectly. The formula was awesome and had great coverage - shown here is three coats and top coat.

There was no sun for pics so I attempted to show the holo using flash. I tried. ;)

WingDust Whenever : I Ain't No Angel

I know, I know, I'm late again. I have no excuse aside from work being stupid busy - we are in the midst of moving office buildings. I'm a terrible hashtag creator; one of these days I will get my poop in a group. ;)

Today I'm sharing I Ain't No Angel, which I thought was terribly fitting. I so love the blue base of this one - it would look amazing with any skin tone. Also, as always, the glitter combo is spot on and makes for a gorgeous final product.

Shown here is two coats and one coat of HK Girl top coat.

Ninja Polish Divinity

Today is World Cancer Day and I had planned on posting my purple mani but I'm having issues with PicMonkey since they updated yesterday. People have recommended Pixlr and Gimp but those have a bigger learning curve than I have time for right now. :) Might have to download Gimp and play with it a bit. Anyway, cancer awareness is a cause pretty near and dear to me (my dad passed away from an aggressive soft-tissue sarcoma in 2012) so I still plan on posting my purple mani tomorrow. Are you sporting purple nails today?

I have a gorgeous polish to show you today. I grabbed Ninja Polish Divinity (currently out of stock) from a blog sale after hearing great things about it and I am so glad I did! The shimmer in this is crazy beautiful. It's so glowy and warm and I want to curl up with the bottle and cuddle it. It also has amazing shift which my camera had a tough time capturing. I did get one picture in horrible lighting that captured the green shift well.

The formula on this was good. It's thin and after the first coat you might think you will need three or four but with the second coat, magic happens and everything evens out perfectly. Shown here is two coats of Divinity and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

This is the first Ninja Polish I have tried. Do you have a favourite?
